Green Forest Nursery

Green Forest Nursery was established in 1993. The main activity at this time was to produce vegetable plants in an area of 3 decares of greenhouse. The greenhouses were controlled to suit the climate conditions needed in order to grow these vegetables satisfactory. In 1994 we started to produce flowering plants. In 1995 we extended our activities to the production of seasonal herbaceous plants suitable for gardens. Because of the high demand, in 1995 we also extended our greenhouse area to 5 decares. In 1997 we extended our activities to planting large quantities of Poinsettias, and, to this day, we have the growing technology to produce high volumes of quality Poinsettias for Garden Centres and Flower Shops throughout Cyprus. We began importing more tropical plants in 2003. The reason for this was to expand the variety of plants that we had available for the large garden projects here in Cyprus. We have 50,000 m2 of plant production area at the nursery. This includes 15,000 m2 of greenhouse and 7000 m2 of net greenhouses. All of this area is equipped for fully controlled climatic conditions. We also have 28,000 m2 of outdoor intensive production planting area. What makes our nursery unique is the ability to deliver high quality plants, individually, or in mass, anywhere around Cyprus.
